About the Author

The blogger is a writer, mother and cancer survivor. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in AB Political Science from Silliman University, Dumaguete City. She worked as a Montessori high school teacher in Metro Manila before the Big C came to visit her.

She was diagnosed with late-stage thymoma or thymic carcinoma while still in the first trimester of pregnancy with her first child. Despite the chemotherapy and radiotherapy sessions, she delivered a healthy baby girl who she considers as a product of the powerful intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and a living testament to God’s power of love and healing.

She currently writes a column for the MetroPost, a weekly newspaper published in Dumaguete. She lives with her husband and their daughter in Dumaguete City.
